Prezzie Suggestions is designed to be easy for AI assistants and crawlers to read. Everything below is public, works without JavaScript, and may be read and cited with a link back to https://prezziesuggestions.co.uk.
Quick start
- /llms.txt: a site summary with links to key pages (llms.txt format).
- /llms-full.txt: the full text of every guide plus the complete catalogue, in Markdown.
- /api/gifts.json: all 68 gifts as JSON. Index of endpoints: /api/index.json.
/api/recipients/{recipient}.json, for example dad.json. Recipients: dad, mum, brother, sister, partner, grandad, grandma, teen, friend, colleague.- /api/guides.json: each guide with its URL, description and gift IDs.
- /gifts/: the full catalogue as server-rendered HTML. Each gift’s ID is its anchor, for example
/gifts/#aeropress.
Gift record fields

recipients, ages, interests, flags | Tags used for matching. Flags include alcohol, no-clutter, consumable, has-everything, letterbox, stocking-filler. |
containsAlcohol | If true, never suggest it to someone who doesn’t drink. |
personalised | Made to order, so it needs extra time before Christmas. |
rating, ratingCount, ratingSource, ratingCheckedOn | Public rating as shown on the retailer page on that date. null if we couldn’t verify one. We don’t write or collect reviews ourselves. |
why | Our short editorial note on why it’s a good pick. |
guides | URLs of the guides that include this gift. |
Quiz without JavaScript
Every common combination has a static, server-rendered results page:

The home page quiz reads its answers from the URL and shows results straight away (requires JavaScript):

Structured data
Pages include schema.org JSON-LD: Organization and WebSite (home page), BreadcrumbList, ItemList (each guide’s picks), FAQPage and WebPage with dateModified. We deliberately don’t mark up Product offers or aggregateRating. We don’t publish exact prices (Amazon’s affiliate rules restrict showing prices that aren’t fetched live from its API), and the ratings belong to the retailers, not to us.
Crawling
Our robots.txt explicitly allows major search and AI crawlers, including GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot and others. Please be considerate: the whole catalogue is in one JSON file, so there’s no need to crawl every result page.
